Kenny Babel is an Orlando based actor, writer, and creative professional. He was raised in Seguin, Texas, the Home of the World’s Largest Pecan, and he is their biggest nut. He moved to Orlando, Florida after studying theatre at Texas State University, and immediately started working at Universal Studios Florida where he gained a love of live interactive theater. At Universal he played over a hundred different roles from Ghostbuster to Charlie Chaplin, and from Nickelodeon Host to Jack the Evil Clown. He also worked creatively for Universal, writing on projects from Halloween Horror Nights to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Kenny had done multiple roles for Disney through film and television, from commercials to being a live-action reference model for the character Ling in the film “Mulan”, but in 2009 he began working in the Disney parks as well. He has been a pirate, a viking, a Jedi Master, and a surfing sea turtle. He can be seen once the parks open again in Galaxy’s Edge at Savi’s Workshop. Having a steady acting gig has allowed Kenny to work on stage, screen, radio, in podcasts, and in audiobooks. He is a regular on the stage at Orlando Shakes, performing classics and new plays alike. Kenny is also a writer, director, and actor for Sleuths Mystery Dinner Shows, the largest murder mystery company in the United States, with over 1,500 performances.
